I am happy to share this last one in the range of beautiful Chalet Villages, at least for now….I’ve discovered many more of these treasures worth sharing, so stay tuned for more in the future. Now…let me show you the Chalet Village Böhmerwald in the beautiful Bohemian Forest; last but definitely not least!
It’s all up to you!
What’s there to look forward to? A beautiful place of course, with lovely chalets and maximum privacy. Special about this village – compared to the Bergdorf Priesteregg and Almdorf St.Johann, I’ve written about in earlier posts – is that this one also has a hotel on the premises. It’s all up to you, if you want to use all the hotel facilities, choose companionship of other guests or prefer maximum privacy.
INNs HOLZ Nature- & Vitalhotel
The hotel perfectly blends into the surroundings of the Bohemian Forest and the chalets. Of course, wood has been used as the main construction material. It has been designed in a contemporary way, a refreshing contrast if you compare it to the more traditional chalets on the premises.
The chalets offer everything for a relaxing holiday and to escape the hustle of everyday life. As experienced hoteliers, the family Gruber knows that free space in a hotel is unfortunately limited. This gave them the idea for a chalet village on the same premises as the hotel.
As a ‘chalet-guest’ you can enjoy the maximum privacy of no fixed meals, no dress code and no other guests. But if you do want to use hotel facilities, like for example the tempting outdoor pool or the wellness area, that’s fine too.
There are 11 unique chalets. They all have 2 levels and 2 bedrooms. Perfect for a family like mine ( 2 adults and 3 children ). The features are luxurious. Of course there is a Kamin (fireplace). I reckon it won’t be easy to find a chalet without a Kamin in Austria There is a private Finnish sauna with an open-air area, a freestanding bathtub perfectly located with view on the flat screen tv, WiFi and a terrace and balcony to experience the relaxing atmosphere of the Bohemian Forest.
Green roof of Europe
The Bohemian Forest is being called the green roof of Europe. Fresh air, green fields and more trees than you can imagine. The INNsHOLZ Hotel and its Chalets, couldn’t be located at a better place. Have fun and go out there!
