Ischgl is one of the ski villages I always like to come back to. The superb ski facilities, the variety of hotels and fine restaurants and that sparkling party vibe, it’s quite something. This village offers a lot of different things, even things you wouldn’t think of in the first place. Like a respectable Art collection, at the Elizabeth Arthotel.
New Rooms and Suites
Honestly I think there is no need to introduce ‘Elizabeth’ to you. It’s been a well known hotel for so many years now. If you’ve been to Ischgl, I’m pretty sure you’ve been to Elizabeth. Maybe not as a hotel guest, but definitely to visit the famous Schatzi Bar, where dazzling ladies perform their dancing skills on the bar. Very entertaining. The hotel is home to this après ski bar and with a selection of other great bars on it’s doorstep you will have easy access to the legendary Ischgl nightlife. Next time in Ischgl I will go and visit ‘Eliza’ again, because I am very anxious to see their new rooms and Art collection.
Günther Aloys -proud owner of Elizabeth Arthotel- says: “The certainty of having chosen the right hotel is a wonderful taste”. ‘I am looking forward to see and experience this with my own eyes. For now I already love to share a glimpse of their new rooms and suites. All modern, luxurious, spacious, yet comfortable and cozy furnished. Bearing in mind the international clientele and the 5 star facilities level, their guests are accustomed to.
Host and Gallery at the Same Time
Elizabeth Arthotel is the first Art Hotel in the Alps. It’s filled with more than 120 pieces of art. In the selection of art, nothing is left to chance. A private art committee, advised on this selection and the presentation. The artists come from Austria and neighboring countries. The internationally renowned German lighting designer Christian Türmer has designed a special light system to put the works of art in the best light. Let me show you some of the stunning pieces of art creating this fun and unique vibe. You can sense and see that the owners are art lovers and have amassed an impressive private collection. Isn’t it cool to stay in a hotel and gallery at the same time?
Spa and Wellness with a Panoramic View
And if that’s not enough already…on the 7th floor there is a spacious Spa located, a bit of Caribbean flair between snow and ice. Located in the penthouse this area with it’s indoor swimming pool, saunas and steam baths provides a unique place to relax and unwind. The floor to ceiling glass facade in the sauna and pool area offers fantastic mountain views over the Prenner slopes.
Flying Pool of pure Glass
Soon there is more to come. A very special feature. A flying pool of pure glass. Check out this artist impression. Wouldn’t you love to dip into this and feel like flying?
