Running around like crazy to arrange all the gifts for the Holidays? I know the feeling, it’s by far the busiest time of the year. Finding that special gift for your sweetheart can be very nerve wracking. Earlier I shared tips on where to spend your Christmas with loved ones, followed by my wishlist to Santa, part I. Now it’s time to share part II. Here’s my top 10. Hopefully it will inspire you!
10 Exclusive Christmas Gifts for your Sweetheart
Like a little black dress and stiletto heels, a stunning clutch simply needs to be part of your wardrobe. And girls love clutches! Dimitri -well respected fashion designer from Merano, South Tyrol – created this cute and classy statement piece. Imagine laying it down at the Christmas dinner table, all shiny and new; I’m pretty sure it will blend in perfectly.
If you want to give something really special, the WienerBlut fragrances are the perfect gift. Based on original formulas and fads of 19th century Vienna, perfumer Alexander Lauber created a range of very unique ones. The first product was launched in 2009 based on the deconstruction and remodeling of so called Taschentuch-Parfums. Quite a brand story, don’t you think? I had the pleasure trying them all. My personal favorite is VOLKAMARIA, a subtle, soft and feminine fragrance. Perfect for every day. At night I love to switch to PALAIS NIZAM, a very exciting, spicy one, with deeper layers. The longer you wear it, the more interesting it gets. And last but not least NORD DU NORD, rare, exquisite and in a way a very lively scent. Never tried anything like this before, I’m sure I would recognize it immediately on other WienerBlut lovers. Very distinctive.
A couple of years ago we stayed at the Alpine Palace Luxus Resort in Hinterglemm, not knowing that the GM – and descendant of the respected Wolf hoteliers family – Florian Wolf is an artist too. Flo creates beautiful pieces of wood art. In the basement of the hotel is where it all happens. Besides creating stunning pieces of art, he is also a very nice and relaxed guy, with this great passion for crafting wood, from the mountains around Hinterglemm. You can choose from the collection that is on display at the hotel, but you can also pick your own piece of wood. That’s what we did. We chose the silver maple tree (over 600 years old!).
These state-of-the art snow goggles record all your cool moves on the slopes. The high resolution camera on the inside does a real good job. No more skiing around wearing unflattering devices on top of your helmet. The integrated birds eye camera at the front delivers beautiful pictures, you can even create your own videos. From a stylish point of view it’s more than ok too. The Zeal is fashionable, comfortable and easy to handle.
Without a doubt the most spectacular way to open your champagne bottles. This one is made in Austria, by Berndorf and looks pretty impressive. I love the wooden grip. Could be useful to practice a little in advance…
The Delft – with a nod to the famous blue china – is a pure Dutch ‘all-mountain’ ski developed with the latest technologies. If you are looking for a ski, that can carve on the slopes, but also has enough width to do powder, this is a great and fun choice. Unfortunately Tthe site is only in Dutch, but I will be more than happy to translate!
The official James Bond Spectre boots by Danner. Great to give, even greater for him to wear!
On the inside this cool hip flask is made from stainless steel. The rare type of pinewood cover does not lose its pleasant, natural scent when applied over the years. Each piece is unique due to different wood grains. And of course it fits perfectly with the famous Zirbenschnaps.
Timeless, classy style. The ultra-fine cashmere fibers characterize this straight-cut polo shirt. Again great to give, even greater for him to wear.
